Border City Appliance Repair started in 2010 with one technician, a van, and a habit of actually showing up when we said we would. The first calls were mostly washers and dryers around Walkerville and Old Riverside, drum bearings, drain pumps, the everyday stuff that keeps a household running. Word travels the way it does in a city Windsor's size, and the work grew from there.
Fridges came next, then dishwashers, stoves and ovens, until there wasn't much in a Windsor kitchen or laundry room we hadn't already fixed at least once. Along the way we picked up certifications across the brands we see the most, LG, Maytag, Samsung, Frigidaire and GE, and built the kind of relationships with parts suppliers that let us stock the common failures right on the van instead of making people wait a week for something to ship in.
What started as one person answering the phone and doing the work has grown into a full team of local, certified technicians, all still trained across every appliance category instead of being boxed into a single specialty. Fifteen years in, we're doing the same thing that got us here in the first place: showing up, giving a straight price, and fixing it right the first time.
Every visit starts with a free diagnostic and a written quote, no surprise line items once the job's done, no vague promises about when a part might show up. If we can fix it on the spot, we do. If we can't, we tell you exactly what's needed and when, not just "we'll order the part and call you." Every repair leaves with a 90-day warranty on parts and labour.
We're not trying to be the biggest name in Windsor appliance repair. We'd rather be the name still saved in your phone the next time something breaks.
